“One of the important parts that the two countries are interested in its development, is agriculture. Recently we have taken positive steps in this regard and we are ready to promote cooperation in agricultural fields.” He added.

Vice President, referring to the negotiations between the two countries said: “Iran has a great capacity in the agricultural sector and we are well prepared to meet the needs of Russia's food and agricultural products. The private sector of Iran is ready to increase the cooperation with Russia in the fields of food production and exporting the agricultural products to this country. Bur this will require a serious pursuit and eliminating the obstacles ahead.”

Jahangiri, Referring to the recent visit of the Russian president to Tehran said: “Putin's visit to Iran was a successful journey and important negotiations were conducted between the two countries and fortunately a serious will for comprehensive development of relations between Tehran and Moscow have been made.”

“Successful implementation of joint projects needs rapid funding and we expect Russia specify the financing situation of the joint project as soon as possible.” Jahangiri referred to the joint projects between Iran and Russia.

Minister of Agriculture of Russia Congratulated eliminating the sanctions against Iran and said: “we witnessed Iran’s hardship in sanctions duration and lifting the sanctions is a great victory for the Iranian nation.”

“We are interested in importing the food and agricultural product from Iran. The development of economic relations can increase the friendship between the two countries and this is something that will upset our common enemies.” He added.

He also mentioned decreasing the relationship between Russia with some of the countries and explained: “this situation made a great opportunity for flourishing the relationship between Tehran and Moscow. Russian market is open to imports of agricultural products and food ingredients from Iran. In return we are ready to supply Iran’s need in the meat and protein sector. /
